8.  Spokane Falls Footbridge:  Warning:  This locale may get you wet.  Okay, get your mind out of the gutter . . . I'm talking about the mist and spray from the falls.  Connecting Riverfront Park to Canada Island and suspended over the upper falls, the footbridge is the perfect place to experience the power of the Spokane River as it charges through downtown.  Nothing like a a kiss over a raging river to get you going!  My recommendation - hit the footbridge at sunset during spring runoff.  But make sure to really lay one on her/him, you don't want to be shown up by the river!
