Super Bowl Sunday in Spokane

If you’re a football nut, you know there’s no better Sunday than Super Bowl Sunday. And this action packed day deserves some discussion because, let’s be honest, it’s just not Super Bowl without cheese fries, buffalo wings and ice cold beer. So, after some discussion with a few locals on Twitter, I’ve come up with a list of some of the best sports bars in Spokane (and what better way to get info on watering holes but from the people who frequent them!)

Heroes & Legends. With fantastic food, plush couches and TVs everywhere you turn (yep, even in the bathroom stalls), what more could you ask for on Super Bowl Sunday? This sports bar is located in downtown Spokane and is always ready for the big game. Feel free to bring the kids along, too!

Jack & Dan’s Bar & Grill. In the mood for a neighborhood bar? Once owned by John Stockton’s dad, this place is super popular among local college students for its fun atmosphere and awesome food. Grab a beer and some grub and enjoy your football Sunday!

The Swinging Doors. Another popular watering hole with the locals, The Swinging Doors has over 60 TVs packed inside which makes it a great spot to watch the game. Plus they’ve got a menu full of pub food and you can even play a game of shuffleboard while you wait for kick-off.

Flamin’ Joe’s. When it comes to hot wings, Flamin’ Joe’s in the Spokane Valley really knows their stuff! Whether you like them super spicy or tasting like teriyaki, this is the place to be. Plus they’ve got lots to choose from like burgers, wraps and salads. And make sure you wash it all down with a refreshing beer straight from the tap. (Try out their North Division location, too!)

The Q at Northern Quest Resort & Casino. If you want to see the game on a monster TV, look no further than The Q. They’ve got an HD screen that measures 30 feet by 10 feet! Hot wings, nachos and cold beer are on the menu so grab a spot and get ready for game time!

So whichever team you’re rooting for on Super Bowl Sunday (Go Green Bay!), Spokane’s got just the place for you to watch the game!

Really? You forgot the best sports bar in town! I've been to The Game on West Sprague and it's by far better than any of those you listed (I do like Swinging Doors though)...The food at The Game is beyond good, the staff is awesome, it has plenty of seating and games for kids to play. Again, best place in town and I'll reiterate...the food is AMAZING! Can't believe it was not included!

In response to "What??" Great suggestion on The Game. Everyone has their fave football hangout. Any more of them out there we should check out? I'm always looking for the best plate of nachos to go with my game!

Haven't had their nachos but I'm sure they're great! I like their flatbread pizza and their salads.

Have a response? Let us know what you think?
