Groundbreaking Ceremonies in Downtown
Spokane for New Convention Hotel
 
A group of key personnel gathered Friday, October 18 for groundbreaking ceremonies at the new Spokane, WA, convention hotel project developed by Walt and Karen Worthy.
 
The hotel, which has yet to be named, will open in July 2015. The 15 story facility will have 722 guest rooms and will connect via skywalk to the Spokane Convention Center (the second hotel to directly connect to the CC). Additionally, the hotel will feature 60,000 sf of meeting space, which includes an 18,000 sf ballroom.
 
The Worthys own The Davenport Hotel Collection in Spokane, which includes the historic Davenport Hotel, Davenport Hotel Tower and Hotel Lusso.
