Spokane Nominated for Best American Riverfront

Best-American-RiverfrontSpokane has been nominated by USA TODAY 10Best Reader's Choice travel awards as one of the Best American Riverfront cities. Chosen by an expert panel, Spokane is listed among 20 other cities including Portland, San Antonio and Denver.

A person can vote daily through October 20. The top 10 Best American Riverfront destinations will be revealed on October 22.

The Spokane River runs through the heart of downtown Spokane. Known as the second largest urban waterfalls in the country, the Spokane Falls are a frequently visited attraction for locals and visitors alike.
