When it comes to golf destinations, the Spokane region is a hole-in-one. Spend a weekend golfing at the area’s 33+ golf courses while enjoying inexpensive green fees and tons of sunshine.
Within just 10 minutes of downtown Spokane, you'll find four of the region’s great municipal courses. Take a swing at Spokane’s oldest golf course, Downriver, or experience Indian Canyon – named by Golf Digest as one of the top 25 public courses in the U.S. First-timers will enjoy the flat fairways of Esmeralda, while nature lovers will appreciate the ponds and wooded areas of The Creek at Qualchan.
Spokane County is home to three of the region’s most beautiful courses, each varying in difficulty. Located along Latah Creek, Hangman Valley offers challenging shots and the opportunity to use practically every club in your bag. Recently remodeled Liberty Lake Golf Course boasts a 6,607-yard par 70 layout, with plenty of white sand bunkers and large greens. MeadowWood Golf Course is a Robert Muir Graves-designed, links style course. Golf Digest rated it one of the Top 10 Best Public Golf Courses in the State of Washington.
Circling Raven Golf Club
It’s no question why Circling Raven has consistently been named as one of the Top 100 Courses You Can Play by Golf Magazine. Set amongst the rolling hills of Northern Idaho, the 7,189-yard course features 620 acres of wetlands, woodlands and Palouse grasses. After a day on the green, head into the Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort Hotel for gaming, dining and a relaxing stay in the hotel.
