I know that the 2009 Spokane Best of Broadway schedule was released quite a while ago, but how exciting is it that we have these quality productions coming to Spokane? Just think about it, we're the only city in the Inland Northwest that is attracting these excellent performances and productions year in and year out. How lucky are we, Spokane? Take for example the fantastic productions we had in 2008, including "Phantom" and "The Color Purple." And 2009's lineup is just as strong, featuring "Annie," "Ain't Misbehavin'" with "American Idol's" Ruben Studdard and Monty Python's Tony Award winning "Spamalot." Who says Spokane doesn't have a thriving arts scene? What is your favorite production or performance that has rolled through Spokane?
I cannot begin to tell you how excited I am for Spamalot. My hubby and his best friends have loved Monty Python since they were in high school in the 80's. About a year ago, we introduced our teenage daughters to Holy Grail and they fell in love too! Tix to Spamalot made the perfect Xmas gift for all of them!
