At the end of August, the Visit Spokane staff went to Silverwood Theme Park for a team retreat. To cover as much ground as possible, we split into teams and drew from a hat so that we could experience everything the park has to offer. Together, we rode rollercoasters, splashed at the water park and enjoyed discovering the massive Silverwood as a group of very happy adults. Read each team's experience below:

Team Spokane Falls
Make sure you visit Silverwood this fall, as the theme park freakishly transforms to Scarywood, named by The Travel Channel as one of the top 24 Halloween attractions in America. Haunted houses, backwards roller coasters and zombie hunts only begin to describe the ghoulish haunts that await. More information about Scarywood can be found here.
Thank you for the comment. We promote Spokane as a region as most visitors will explore the entire region when visiting, including north Idaho. Silverwood is a top attraction and a place we frequently recommend because as we mentioned in the blog, it's great!

Glad your group had fun, but wouldn't it have been more fun to go to a place in Spokane, not to mention that it would look much better from a public relations standpoint. But I bet those folks who promote tourism in northern Idaho love you for this.
