  • Overview
  • Ric Gendron's exhibition, Whiplash, features paintings from his 30-year career. Gendron, an enrolled member of the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation, was born on the Colville Reservation in Northeastern Washington and grew up in Coulee Dam and Spokane. His mother was a member of the Umatilla Tribe and his father was a Colville Tribe member.

    He is best known for his vibrant acrylic paintings. He paints every day, and his work is a mixture of traditional images and dances melded with American rock and pop culture. His works have been exhibited in galleries, museums, and group exhibitions from Portland to New York. Ric is actively involved in the Santa Fe Indian Market and the Heard Museum Show in Phoenix, AZ.
