Gonzaga University Fall Family Weekend

Visit Spokane welcomes Gonzaga University families!

October 7-9, 2016

The 2015 Fall Family Weekend was a huge success which welcomed about 1,000 families to campus.

The focus of the Family Fall Weekend event is to welcome the parents, family members, and family friends of the undergraduate students to campus so that they have the opportunity to experience a portion of their student's life at Gonzaga University. To this end, parents are encouraged to attend classes with their student and to participate in a variety of academic, athletic, and social events especially designed to give family members a tantalizing taste of Gonzaga.

Located in the heart of Gonzaga’s campus, the Hemmingson Center brings the community together, blending the core elements of the Gonzaga experience – academics, student development, faith, and global impact – in a facility designed for connectivity. It is the new home of University Ministry, Center for Global Engagement, a variety of student development programs and outdoor programs, as well as student activities and clubs.

In Spokane, big city amenities combine with natural beauty, four seasons and a wealth of ways to stay entertained. Spokane is a great home for students and a fun place for families to visit.

Our indoor options stir all the senses! Spokane boasts Broadway shows, art galleries, museums, and historic venues. You'll find lots of shopping and fabulous food throughout the city from distinctly regional to familiar favorites.

Outdoor recreation is a short drive away to hiking, biking, skiing, and fishing, and there are several beautiful parks and gardens throughout the city.
