Assists the Vice President & Director of Destination Marketing, senior management staff and CVB President with all segments of the CVB's communications and public relations programs. Eighty percent of this position must emphasize aggressive work with travel media while twenty percent should be devoted to local coverage of key CVB messages.

Convention Sales Manager
Join our dynamic convention sales team representing a growing destination with newly expanded facilities. If you can generate new convention business through research, tradeshows and creative sales techniques, this could be the position for you. Some travel is required, and presentations are a part of the duties. There will be some work outside normal business hours. Accurate and detailed reports and notes needed, along with some computer savvy. Your aggressive commitment to achieving individual and team goals will help you here.

The Spokane Regional CVB recognizes the value of your dedication. We offer extensive orientation sessions. You are included in CVB staff activities. And we host an annual appreciation event dedicated to our fabulous volunteers! Here is all we ask - that you commit to volunteering for one four-hour morning or afternoon weekday shift to greet visitors at one of our three visitor centers around the county. That's it! Don't worry if you might be unavailable from time to time. Your fellow volunteers are happy to trade shifts or substitute for you! Plus it's a great way to make new friends and meet new people from around the world.
