The Embroiderers' Guild of America is a national, non-profit educational organization founded in 1958 to foster high standards of design, color, and workmanship in embroidery; to teach the embroidery arts; to preserve our national needle arts heritage. We offer programs, group correspondence courses, field trips, slide shows and the opportunity to share ideas, techniques and favorite things. Members also receive a quarterly magazine, Needle Arts, and a chapter newsletter. The guild meets the fourth Wednesday at 6:30pm at the Perry Street Fire Station (#11). No meetings in May, November and December.
