Riverside State Park offers visitors two rivers worth of water access and recreation with several different access points on both the Little Spokane, the Spokane River, and Lake Spokane.
The Spokane River is hazardous in places, and should not be run without local knowledge. The park has two watercraft launches on Lake Spokane, and 120 feet of dock. The Little Spokane River is restricted to kayaks, canoes and rafts. Inner tubes are not allowed. Approved flotation devices are mandatory for all paddlers and boaters. Canoes & kayaks can be rented at the Nine Mile Recreation Area for $25 a day May 15 - Sept 15.
