Inland Northwest Health Services - created from a unique collaboration of Spokane's two competing hospital systems - oversees several vital community services, including: free health screenings and education through CHER; critical care air ambulance service provided by Northwest MedStar; physical therapy and rehabilitation at St. Luke's Rehabilitation Institution; a telehealth video conference network, linking nearly 70 rural and underserved areas to urban health care providers and services through Northwest TeleHealth; local support for the Children's Miracle Network; and the communication hub through Information Resource Management, connecting more than 4,600 regional physicians and 38 hospitals to one of the nation's most advanced health information technology networks.
