Three Non-Stops Reinstate Air Service
Spokane last enjoyed non-stop service to San Francisco in 2001 and to Chicago in November 2008, according to the release.
"In an era of economic uncertainty, we are delighted that United Airlines has responded so favorably to our region's need for connectivity to San Francisco," commented Neal Sealock, Airport Director, Spokane International Airport. "The daily service will allow for more efficient business travel and connections to major domestic and international commercial centers. Now the challenge is for our travelers to reward United for their risk and investment and actively utilize these new flights."
Better Access to Two Major Cities
"'How are we going to get there?' is the first question a convention group asks after booking Spokane," said Spokane Regional Convention & Visitors Bureau President & CEO Harry Sladich. "These flights are an answer to that question."
