Spokane - a finalist for 2010 US Figure Skating

YOU CAN HELP SPOKANE WIN AGAIN! The site selection team of the Events Advisory Board for U.S. Figure Skating will be in Spokane next Tuesday, April 22nd. This committee will be awarding one of four finalist cities the opportunity to host the 2010 U.S. Figure Skating Championships. To add to the excitement, this prestigious event will determine the figure skating team that will represent the United States at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics!
Demonstrate how important this event is to Spokane and the entire region!
How: You and your guest are invited to a SURPRISE Reception for the site selection committee at the Spokane International Airport
When: 4pm, Tuesday, April 22 - Begin arriving at 4pm to go through security
Where: The Rotunda at The Spokane International Airport
Why: The site selection committee will not be expecting a big reception at the airport, so we believe this surprise will leave a GREAT last impression.
What you have to do: You MUST reply to Joe Johnson at the Spokane Regional Convention & Visitors Bureau with the full name (first, middle and last name please) of both you and your guest, as well as dates of birth for each of you.
This information must be approved by the TSA in order for you to proceed through airport security. Remember, to access the Rotunda you must pass through the security checkpoint.
Time is of the essence! Respond with your first, middle and last names as wellas the dates of birth of both you and your guest to jjohnson@visitspokane.com, or call Joe at 509.742.9377, no later than noon on Friday, April 18.

Show your support for hosting the 2010 U.S. Figure Skating Championships to the site selection team by asking the businesses around you to change their readerboards for April 21 & 22 to say:
"Spokane - Skate City USA! Select Spokane for the 2010 U.S. Figure Skating Championships!" or "Spokane - Skate City USA! 2010 U.S. Figure Skating Championships belong in Spokane"
