Spokane Winery Tour (Time: 4 hours)
Washington is the second largest wine producing state in the country and today you'll have the opportunity to sample some of their award winning wines. First stop is Latah Creek Wine Cellars, heralded by Wine Spectator Magazine as one of the top producers of Merlot in Washington State. Tour the winery, taste and shop in their extensive gift shop. Next, off to the Cliff House, once owned by an inventor, now the home of Arbor Crest Wine Cellars. This national historic landmark is perched on a rock 450 feet above the Spokane River and gives a panoramic view of the countryside. A perfect setting for tasting some excellent wine. Our last stop is Mountain Dome Winery, Washington's premier sparkling winery, located in the foothills of Mt. Spokane. Learn the secret of Methode Champenoise and put a sparkle in your day.

Lunch Cruise up the Shadowy St. Joe River & Garnet Digging (Time: 6 ½ hours)
Travel one hour to the southern end of Lake Coeur d'Alene to Heyburn State Park, the oldest state park in the Pacific Northwest. Board the boat for a lunch cruise up the St. Joe River. There will be wildlife viewing and a steamboat history talk. For lunch, enjoy a Native American barbecue cooked right on the boat. After the cruise, travel south to Emerald Creek. This is one of only two places in the world where star garnets are found (the other is India). The garnet-gravel mix has been excavated from up to 6 feet below the earth and all you need to do is hose off the gravel to find the beautiful deep red garnets. Everyone is sure to find at least one! Return to Spokane with your treasures. This is a seasonal option.
Cat Tales Zoological Park (Time: 2 ½ hours)
Travel 25 minutes from downtown to Cat Tales, home to over 40 exotic and endangered cats. Experience a unique and exciting opportunity to get within eight feet of the lions, tigers and leopards as you hear their compelling rescue stories on your tour through the center. You may even have the opportunity to hand feed a lion or tiger!
River Rafting on the Spokane River (Time: 3 hours - about 2 hours rafting time depending on the current)
Just minutes from downtown, board a raft for a scenic trip down the Spokane River. Your guide will take you through some small rapids and point out wild life. Paddle along or just sit back and enjoy the ride. This trip is fun for all ages!
- End the trip in Riverside State Park and enjoy an epicurean delight set on the river banks showcasing local wines and gourmet cheeses, smoked salmon, breads and fresh fruit. (Time: 4 hours)
Dinner & Spectacular Laser Light Show on Grand Coulee Dam (Time: 7 hours)
Travel through Eastern Washington's rich farm country on the way to Grand Coulee Dam. Enjoy dinner along the way. Next, see the laser light show on one of the world's largest dams, Grand Coulee. The show is narrated and accompanied by music and you'll be seated in bleacher seats. Visit the newly renovated Visitor Center at the Dam.
Evening at the Rockin' B Ranch (Time: 4 ½ hours)
If you're looking for an old-time country western experience and an evening of laughter, you'll find it here. Start with a hangin' and shootin' show, then grab your tin plate for a chuckwagon dinner with beef, chicken and all the fixin's in the barn. After dinner tap your foot to the Riders of the Rockin' B who sing-old time favorites, including "Cool Water," and will keep you entertained with knee-slapping jokes. This is a seasonal option.
Cruise the Columbia & Snake Rivers with Fantasy Cruises

Silverwood Theme Park & Boulder Beach Water Park
Just 45 minutes northeast of Spokane is Silverwood Theme Park, a Victorian-themed mining town featuring over 60 amusement rides, live shows and attractions. Ride the biggest wooden roller coaster in the Pacific Northwest, ride the vintage steam train and see a Native American village along the way or get wet at Boulder Beach Water Park. This is a seasonal option.

Northwest Museum of Arts & Culture (MAC) and Historic Campbell House
The MAC is a Smithsonian-affiliated museum offering an exciting rotation of many unique collections, including items from America's largest collection of Northern Plateau Indian art amd artifacts. Also included is an interactive tour of the historic Campbell House designed in 1898 by Kirtland Cutter and located adjacent to the museum. Spring of 2007 see the special exhibit of A T. rex Named Sue. This exhibition was created by The Field Museum in Chicago and features a fully articulated, life-sized cast of the Field Museum's star dinosaur.
Spokane Lilac Festival and Armed Forces Torchlight Parade
The parade, always the third Saturday in May, is the largest military torchlight parade in the world. There are over 200 entrees. The theme for 2007 is "Here's to the Heroes." This is a seasonal option.
