Getting Here

Whether you're coming to Spokane by land or air, your travel is sure to be as simple as it is convenient.

Southwest JetIt's just about 10 minutes from baggage claim to our highly acclaimed downtown!  Conveniently located just seven miles from downtown, Spokane International Airport (GEG) is the second largest airport in Washington State, providing quick and easy access to more than 6,900 hotel rooms.  Served by 10 airlines, Spokane receives more than 134 daily flights from cities around the United States, with non-stop access to 9 major hubs nationwide.

Spokane International AirportEnjoy the view from the driver's seat?  Like the freedom of the open road?  The I-90 freeway and several major highways intersect Spokane making your trip to and from your meeting both convenient and scenic.  And why not try the train?  The Amtrak Passenger Station is conveniently located in the heart of downtown for easy access to scheduled rail service.

Getting Around
Once you're here getting around Spokane is a walk in the park with detailed city maps and friendly personal instruction readily available at our visitors centers and businesses throughout downtown.

Trolly"Pedestrian friendly" is an overused term and inadequate to describe Spokane.  We prefer "pedestrian paradise."  Wide sidewalks, short city blocks, great weather and beautiful landscaping make Spokane prime strolling territory.  Try this on for size; Spokane's city blocks average a mere 325 feet long, while Chicago's city blocks are more than 1,000 feet! And don't forget about the 24-hour downtown security ambassadors and the city's "Clean Teams" making sure our city stays safe and sparkling.  Cold outside?  Find warmth and connectivity in one of the largest skywalk systems in the nation.

Avoid the fuss and take the bus!  The Spokane Transit Authority, STA, is Spokane's public transit system.  Green busses and trolleys offer convenient service throughout the city, including stops at major shopping, entertainment and hospitality destinations.

Looking to rent a car or take a taxi?  Spokane's got your ticket.  From Vespas and green taxi companies to vans and luxury limousines, Spokane offers the perfect transportation for your next meeting.
