The Spokane region's rich Native American history is celebrated every summer in the Spokane region with performances, a market and more. Great for families and everyone, plus it's free to attend!
Riverfront Park - August 26-28, 2016
Event attendees can enjoy performances of traditional Native American singing, dancing and drumming. The performers range in age and don traditional regalia while competing in a variety of contests and show categories. There is also a Royalty Pageant, where you can watch young women compete for the titles of Jr. Miss Gathering at the Falls and Miss Gathering at the Falls.
Shop through the market for Native American and contemporary art pieces, including purses, jewelry, beading and more. Plus, you can get your fill of frybread and Indian tacos (if you haven’t tried them, they’re a must-eat!).
