This Spokane Valley Heritage Museum exhibit details the aviation history of Felts Field. It includes profiles of our local pioneer aviators such as Nick Mamer, Jack Fancher, and Buell Felts, the formation of the Washington Air National Guard, the 1927 visit by Charles Lindbergh, and much more. Group tours are welcome.

After dinner a new stage show: How the West Was Sung, filled with songs from classic Cowboy Movies, starrin' The Riders of the Rockin' B.

A major one-person exhibition of Trejo’s work spanning over four decades. Ruben is one of our region’s most important and respected artists. His work is in many collections, including the Smithsonian American Art Museum collection. The exhibit includes the artist’s sculpture, mixed media constructions, paintings and drawings. A beautiful exhibition catalogue has been published by the U of W Press. Lead Sponsors: EWU Foundation, Sterling Savings, The Spokesman-Review, Johnston-Hanson Foundation.

Experience “Changing Times” at the Kirkland Cutter-designed turn-of-the-20th-century Campbell House. Tours include the carriage house, where an exhibit introduces the Campbell household and community issues. Register at the Museum Admissions Desk for the 45-minute guided tours.

Over a century of Spokane history translates into a three-dimensional tapestry of personal stories. Museum Collection treasures tell of family, community, and business adventures from fur trade and fire, through aviation and ticker tape. Names such as James Glover are familiar; others are little-known but important for their contribution to Spokane life. This is a long term exhibit with periodic artifact changes.
