Since Johnny Cash's death in 2003, his legions of fans worldwide has been courted with albums, boxed sets, videos, Joaquin Phoenix Oscar bids, even a San Diego tribute band. True to The Man's sound (and look), Cash'd Out has been strumming Cash numbers on San Diego stages since early 2005, and as even the most ardent Johnny Cash fans will tell you, they ain't bad at what they do. CASH’D OUT is the only band outside of the Cash and Carter family to be added to the official Johnny Cash website.

Santa Claus will make a grand entrance this year, greeted by tiny bells jingled by children. Prior to Santa’s arrival, children and families will enjoy face-painting, balloon artist and caroling and Mrs. Claus will read the Polar Express. Led by elves, Santa will make his way down to the atrium. Then,he’ll light the River Park Square’s tree. Santa will then draw the name of one lucky child who will come up to the stage and be the first child of the season to sit on Santa’s lap.

For over 20 years, Doug Martsch has written and recorded music. Built to Spill members Brett Nelson (bass), Scott Plouf (drums), and Jim Roth and Brett Netson (guitar) have all been musicians for two decades. That adds up to more than a century of music-making! Doug’s strong aesthetic combines with the band members’ mix of approaches to create an aural topography. With the complexity and variety of their music, the band endeavors to make songs interesting to themselves and their audience.

This concert opens with Hungarian composer Zoltan Kodaly's Dances of Galanta---his ode to wild and passionate gypsy music. Then classical harpist Yolanda Kondonassis takes centerstage in Alberto Ginastera's concerto, a delicious virtuoso mix of Argentine folk music with echoes of Stravinsky, Bartok, and Copland. The evening closes with Robert Schumann's Second Symphony. This great work unfolds like a dramatic novel with its fiery Scherzo, an intimate slow movement, and a triumphant finale.

Worlds of Fantasy's takes you into Disney fantasy lands: Disney/Pixar's "Cars", the enchanting undersea kingdom of "The Little Mermaid", and the 'Circle of Life' of "The Lion King." The second act features Disney Fairies, as Tinker Bell from Pixie Hollow tries to save spring. This show also includes a one-hour pre-show centered around Disney Princesses that gives guests the chance to see, up close and personal, various Princess' gowns and mementos.
