Visitor Information Centers
Downtown Spokane with Fog 

The Spokane Regional Visitor Information Center located at 201 W Main Avenue (corner of Main and Browne) was built in 1996 and is known as "The VIC" or "The Downtown VIC."  About 20 volunteers work four-hour per week shifts on weekdays assisting walk-in visitors to the entire region. Two staff members are on site to manage the day-to-day operations of the visitor center and fulfill visitor requests received by internet, telephone, fax and the daily mail. Other staff duties include the procurement of member and other brochures of interest to visitors and to manage distribution of CVB visitor materials. Staff also keeps a current calendar of events.

The hours of operation are weekdays 8:30 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. 
Saturday and Sunday 9:00am - 6:00pm

Materials that are available to visitors include:

  • Spokane Regional CVB member brochures
  • Official Spokane Regional Visitor Guide
  • Maps - downtown Spokane, Spokane City Map, State Highway Maps of Washington, Idaho, Oregon and Montana
  • Special Interest Brochures such as camping, hiking etc.
  • Visitor Guides from reciprocating CVB's and Chambers of Commerce
  • Current Spokane/Coeur d'Alene US Dex West telephone books

Souvenir items available at the VIC include:

  • Post cards
  • Centennial Trail Maps
  • Spokane computer CD's
  • Lilac Festival pins
  • Spokane logo golf balls
  • Spokane logo plastic lapel pins
  • Metal "Spokane, Near Nature, Near Perfect" lapel pins
