American Airlines Adds Nonstop Service to Dallas

Spokane, WA, March 13, 2017– American Airlines is making it easier for travelers to get to Spokane with a new nonstop flight to Dallas Fort Worth. The year round flight, which begins July 5, 2017, arrives and departs daily at both Spokane International Airport (GEG) and Dallas Fort Worth (DFW). Travelers can start planning now: booking is already available.

“Continued growth in airlift at Spokane International Airport is tremendous news,” said Cheryl Kilday, President & CEO of Visit Spokane. “This gives even more people the opportunity to get here easily and experience our great destination. It’s just another way for people to connect to Spokane, which will provide for tourism growth.”

The new flight is positive for all travelers, but it’s crucially important for travelers in Southeast hubs, including attendees to meetings and conventions in the Spokane region.

"This is just another reason why Spokane makes an ideal place for meetings and conventions," said Rob Enriquez, Vice President of Sales & Marketing. "When attendees come to meetings here, they fall in love with the place. Taking the hassle out of getting here is just another tool to keep the positive momentum."

The flight options are as follows:

Dallas Fort Worth International (DFW)

• American Airlines departs DFW at 9:15am arrives Spokane at 10:15am

• American Airlines departs Spokane at 1:55pm arrives DFW at 7:23pm

These new routes mark the latest additions to Spokane International's list of nonstop routes.

On June 4, Southwest Airlines will begin seasonal nonstop flights from Spokane to San Diego. Starting June 8, United Airlines will begin daily, year-round nonstops between Spokane and San Francisco, and Spokane and Chicago. Delta Air Lines added nonstop service to Los Angeles and Boise.
