Kevin J. Twohig, CFE Honored at Visit Spokane Annual Meeting
Leadership Excellence in Tourism Award

Visit Spokane is pleased to announce Kevin J. Twohig, CFE, Spokane Public Facilities District CEO, is the recipient of the Leadership Excellence in Tourism award. 

Twohig will be honored at Visit Spokane's Annual Meeting, which is open to all media. It begins at 3pm at The Davenport Grand.

This award honors significant achievement and historically significant contribution by someone who has impacted Spokane's tourism industry for more than 10 years. The Leadership Excellence in Tourism award is determined by a vote of the Visit Spokane Board of Directors.

"Kevin's leadership for the last 40 years serving the Spokane region's hospitality community is impressive," said Cheryl Kilday, President & CEO at Visit Spokane. "Our board recognizes his hard work and dedication resulting in a significant impact on tourism to the region."

Among Twohig's many accomplishments:

• Strong leadership in the expansion of the Spokane Convention Center

• Improvements to the Spokane Veterans Arena

• Fostering partnerships with the Spokane Sports Commission

Visit Spokane will honor several from the hospitality community at today's Annual Meeting when the Tourism Awards are presented as part of the overall program. The award presentation will begin at 4pm.
