Getting to Spokane is Getting Easier

Southwest Airlines has made it easier for travelers to get to Spokane. Starting April 8, 2018, a daily nonstop flight from Spokane to San Jose took off. The flight will run year-round.

“The continued growth in airlift at Spokane International Airport is great news,” said Cheryl Kilday, President & CEO of Visit Spokane. “This has a direct impact on the positive image people have of Spokane by making it even easier to reach us and enjoy the destination. Adding another nonstop flight that will be connected to Spokane will provide new opportunities for tourism growth."

Having a nonstop from San Jose to Spokane will also make it easier for business and meetings travelers trying to connect.

The new route marks the latest additions to the airport’s list of nonstop routes. Last year, Southwest Airlines started seasonal nonstop flights from Spokane to San Diego and a year-round nonstop to Sacramento. United Airlines added two nonstops, Spokane to San Francisco and Spokane to Chicago, American added Dallas and Delta Air Lines added nonstop service to Los Angeles and Boise.

The San Jose flight:

• Departs San Jose at 5:25pm arrives Spokane at 7:25pm
• Departs Spokane at 6:00pm arrives San Jose at 8:05pm
