Visit Spokane Announces Leisure Sales Manager

Charlotte-HeadshotheadVisit Spokane is pleased to announce the appointment of Charlotte Finnegan to the newly created position of Leisure Sales Manager. In her new role, Charlotte will focus on enhancing and increasing sales and marketing tactics to reach leisure travelers, affinity and alumni groups, as well as travel agents and AAA offices.

Prior to her new position, Charlotte served as Visit Spokane's Director of National Accounts for six years.

A recent marketing study showed that the Spokane region attracts a high number of leisure travelers each year, many who return for multiple visits in their lifetime.

"We've always targeted leisure travelers who come here for anything from couples' retreats to sporting events to family vacations and more," said Jeanna Hofmeister, Chief Marketing Officer at Visit Spokane. "Charlotte will work on providing these visitors with all the tools they need to fully experience our great destination."

As Leisure Sales Manager, Charlotte, who recently gained her Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation, will also oversee the visitor information center at the Spokane International Airport and the kiosk in downtown Spokane's River Park Square, as well as the future mobile visitor center expected in Spring 2014.

"Selling to leisure travelers will be a much different process than selling to meeting planners, but I'm up for the challenge" says Finnegan. "I have extensive knowledge of the region and our industry partners on my side, and I'm ready to connect new and returning visitors to the wonderful assets of our region."
