Visit Spokane Announces New Director of National Accounts

Visit Spokane is pleased to welcome Scott Zellers to the organization as the newest Director of National Accounts.

A Spokane native, Scott most recently comes from the Hyatt Regency Bellevue where he worked as a sales manager for seven years.

"This is a great strategic move for us" said Keith Backsen, Vice President of Sales and Services at Visit Spokane. "Scott's knowledge of Spokane, in addition to his background in the meetings industry outside the region, will really help our efforts to market the destination to meeting planners across the country."

Scott will focus on bringing legal, government, public administration, agriculture and corporate meetings and conventions to the Spokane region.

"The Spokane region is really thriving right now with the Spokane Convention Center expansion and the new convention hotel being built across the street," said Scott. "I'm excited to be a part of the process and to be able to use my industry knowledge to show meeting planners why they should bring their next convention to the Inland Northwest."
