(March 28, 2018) -- Visit Spokane is pleased to announce Jamie Rand has joined the destination marketing organization as Marketing Director. He recognizes that tourism and conventions are important to our quality of life and economy. He appreciates the local tax relief visitor spending affords our residents. “Jamie will be a great addition to the team. He brings marketing expertise, a passion for the region and fresh ideas," said Cheryl Kilday, Visit Spokane President & CEO. “His experience managing tourism strategies and overseeing their implementation makes him well suited for the job.” Prior to joining Visit Spokane, Jamie worked as a publisher for News Media Corporation in Newport, Oregon. He also worked as a marketing consultant for the City of Newport and Salishan Spa and Golf Resort.
