Visit Spokane Announces New Visitor Engagement Specialist

ace-mobile-vicVisit Spokane is pleased to announce that Melissa Skomer-Kafton has joined the organization as Visitor Engagement Specialist.

The position was created to oversee Ace, the mobile visitor information center that provides information about the Spokane region to visitors at local and regional events.

Melissa played a key role when Ace, a small van equipped with maps, visitor guides and brochures, was introduced earlier this year.

"I'm excited to be part of the launch of Ace," said Melissa. "Bringing the information directly to the visitors allows them to maximize their time here, which in turn creates a better destination experience."

More information about Ace and its scheduled appearances can be found here or on Twitter at @VisitSpokaneACE.

Prior to joining Visit Spokane, Melissa spent nearly 20 years working at a variety of media outlets around the Northwest.
