When I travel, one of my favorite things to do is stretch my money as far as it can go. It’s a little game I play against myself. I know that if I can skip breakfast and eat a cheap lunch, I won’t feel guilty about spending a few extra dollars on a well-deserved beer or glass of wine with dinner. I’ll admit, I have taken it a little too far in the past (thankfully, I have grown out of my sleeping in car phase). Still, I don’t feel like I have to spend a lot of money when I travel. That’s why I love to do my research on the free things to do and see. It’s actually a great way to experience a city.
So, in the spirit of optimizing your vacation, I have collected a list of Free Things To Do in Spokane. It’s an ever expanding list including urban trails, parks, splash pads, art installations, scenic spots, tours, free museums and even swimming spots. Consider it a kick start for your ultimate Northwest adventure. If you’re like me, it’s time to celebrate because my brewery funds just increased ten-fold!
