Summer might not officially arrive until the end of the month, but in Spokane, the season kicks off the first weekend in June with an all-star lineup of events that celebrate creativity, art and music.


Volume: Inlander Music Festival

June 1-2
Various downtown Spokane venues

Featuring over 80 local and regional bands, Volume turns downtown Spokane in a juke box of great music for the weekend. Bands play at nine venues throughout downtown and one, affordable wristband gets you into every show for the entire two-day festival.

Coeur d’Alene Park, Browne’s Addition

A celebration of local creativity, ArtFest has been connecting artists with the community for 33 years. A marketplace featuring the work of over 150 regional artists, the weekend also includes lives music, comedians, local food and a beer and wine garden. The event is free, so you can spend your cash on the art that speaks to you.


Farm Chicks Vintage & Handmade Fair

June 2-3
Spokane County Fair and Expo Center

Often described as the best vintage and handmade fair in the country, The Farm Chicks is a bucket list event for lovers of all things hand crafted. The show is carefully curated to showcase the best vintage has to offer. You’re sure to find inspiration, creativity and something lovely to take home with you.
