Dear fans of Texas A&M, New Mexico State, Utah State (all Aggies!), Siena, Maryland, Michigan State, Houston and Purdue,
Welcome to Spokane!
We know you're cheering hard for your team, and to be honest, we wish there was a way all of you could win! Hey, anything to make your trip here memorable.
Games are Friday and Sunday and we want to do everything we can to help you find things to do in Spokane. Trust us, there is plenty to do! Spokane might be the best kept secret in all of the nation!
You may have some questions such as....
Where should I eat dinner?
Gosh, where do I begin? We have American, Mexican, Italian, Greek, Vegetarian, Barbeque and much more. All are located close to your hotel.

Can I golf?
Of course! Spokane prides itself on its amazing courses for little money, and we'll have ridiculously great weather this weekend. Ever played on a floating green? You can do that a short 40-minute drive from Spokane at the Coeur d'Alene Resort. Or, you can golf on one of many city or county courses with dog legs, wide fairways, fast greens, hilly terrain, flat terrain and more.
Well if I can golf, then I definitely can't ski, right?
Oh contraire my friend. Spokane is so unique, you can golf and ski...on the same day! Where else do you get that chance? We've got five ski resorts all within a two-hour drive. All five are vastly different from one another, so if you're into diversity, your team got placed in the right city.
Where can I watch the other NCAA Tournament games?
Ever heard of John Stockton? I sure hope so. He grew up in Spokane and played at Gonzaga University. His father, Jack, owns Jack and Dan's, a wonderful sports bar across from Gonzaga. If you are staying downtown, check out the Post Street Ale House in the Hotel Lusso. It's brand new! You can also head around the corner to Heroes and Legends, a bar that has TV monitors at booths and directly above the urinals! How cool! You can also watch the games on a screen ten feet by 30 feet wide at The Q Sports Bar at Northern Quest Resort & Casino. That's a big screen!
Where can I shop?
Lots of places. If you want denim, we've got that. Need new shoes? We have that too. Have a baby, but the airline lost the stroller? BabyPax that lets you rent baby materials. Fact is, we have so many stores, you could fill a closet with what you could buy!
How do I get around?
Spokane Transit Authority (STA) is one of the best transportation mechanisms you will ever ride. STA transported athletes at the 2009 Paralyzed Veterans Wheelchair Games and skaters, coaches and fans during the 2010 U.S. Figure Skating Championships. Ride them to make your day easier.
