The more I read and hear about Crave, the more excited I get. There are so many details about this amazing, unprecedented event so I'm going highlight the most important information and make a nice reduction sauce for you all. (Aren't food metaphors the best?)
I often tell people that I am a shameless question-asker so I thought I would answer the questions that I have had about Crave and share those with you.
What is Crave?
Crave is a brand new multi-event happening that promises to be the region’s premier food and drink celebration. Crave is made up of 10 ticketed events over the four-day festival. Attendees will be able to sample food and drinks from chefs and vendors from all over the Northwest region, as well as from guest chefs who will be attending from all over North America.

How many local chefs will be represented at Crave?
More than 25 Spokane region restaurants will be participating at Crave! Zona Blanca, Clover, Luna, The Blackbird, Wandering Table, Casper Fry, Table 13, Gilded Unicorn, Iron Goat, Fleur de Sel and many, many more.
Where will the chefs from around North America be coming from?
Crave is very proud to be featuring internationally recognized chefs who will be coming from San Francisco, Las Vegas, Chicago, Los Angeles, Vancouver, BC, Chicago and Philadelphia.
These acclaimed chefs are James Beard award winners, have written books and have been featured on the Food Network, Top Chef, The Today Show and Hell's Kitchen. They are the gold medalists of the culinary world, so it is a great honor and privilege for our region to be hosting them.
Will I be able to talk to and interact with the chefs?
YES! There will be opportunity to be up close and personal and interact with the chefs through tastings, culinary events and special presentations. The collaborative set up of the event makes Crave one of a kind.
I heard something about a special film screening, can you tell me about that?
Internationally renowned chef Jeremiah Tower will be one of the guest chefs at Crave. He is the subject of the new documentary film The Last Magnificent which is produced by celebrity chef, author, and television personality Anthony Bourdain. There will be a screening of the film on Saturday, June 17 at noon. This film is still on limited release and this is the only chance you’ll have to see it in the Spokane region.
Tickets include the screening, a meet and greet with Chef Tower and a signed copy of his book, Start the Fire: How I Began a Food Revolution in America.
How much does Crave cost?
The prices vary anywhere from $35 for the Grand Tasting events to $260 for a Crave weekend pass. There are price ranges to fit any budget. The ticket prices listed are at discount for a limited time, so be sure to get your tickets soon.

Keep in mind that Crave is a 21-and-over event, except for the Father's Day brunch on Sunday.
