There is a plane and membership category for every budget. Please visit our website for current hours and opportunities.

Whether you’re a seasoned aviator, a student of history, or a newcomer to the world of aviation, Historic Flight wants to spark and fuel passion, both for aviation and for the discoveries borne from hard work. Learn how aviation played a key role in shaping history, and how it continues to shape our future.

The foundation was originally established in 2003 in Seattle as "John T. Sessions Historic Aircraft Foundation" with the intention to collect, restore, and share significant aircraft from the period between the solo Atlantic crossing of Charles Lindbergh and trans-Atlantic service in the Boeing 707. Historic Flight has a collection of 14 aircraft from the Golden Age of Flight – 1927-57 - and has engaged the best restoration resources available to return the collection to original condition.
