Spokane AIDS Network (SAN) and the cast the of Disney’s The Lion King will host “The Lion Sings Tonight,” an evening of song and dance.
“The Lion Sings Tonight” is part of an ongoing series of performances by the touring cast and musicians to raise money and awareness for BCEFA and similar organizations. In its 17 years on tour, The Lion King company has raised nearly $4 million in donations for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and local AIDS service organizations all over the country. Produced by company members, the evening is an opportunity for them to step out of their roles in the musical and kick up their heels performing some of their favorite non- Lion King material.
This Monday night event will include SILENT auctions featuring opportunities to join the company backstage at the First Interstate Center for the Arts as well as some once in a lifetime Lion King experiences you’ll never forget. Proceeds benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS (BC/EFA) and Spokane AIDS Network.
