    War was the objective.
    Peace was the bait.
    The country was duped.

In 1964 the landscape of political advertising was changed forever. With an impending presidential election and the threat of nuclear war looming, a political advertising agency working for Lyndon Johnson unleashed the most devastating political commercial ever conceived, the “Daisy” Ad. Based on true events, Daisy explores the moment in television that launched the age of negative advertising and forever changed the way we elect our leaders.
