FāVS Center, a new faith & non-faith Community Space, is opening in June on Spokane’s South Hill. The open house includes a tour, an interfaith blessing, a welcome from Tracy Simmons, Executive Director of SpokaneFāVS, City Council Member Lori Kinnear and others. Donations will be accepted to offset start-up costs. SpokaneFāVS, an online religion news publication was gifted the building and it will be used to foster interfaith dialogue, creating community engagement opportunities. The people of Spokane, no matter where they are on their faith journey, can gather in a neutral space for worship, classes, retreats, weddings and other events.
