Gonzaga Symphony Orchestra Concert, Featuring Cello Soloist, Brannon Cho

    Gonzaga Symphony Orchestra will present its winter program. Conducted by Kevin Hekmatpanah, the performance will take place at Myrtle Woldson Performing Arts Center, located on the Gonzaga Campus at 211 E Desmet Ave.

    The event will begin with three spectacular orchestral showpieces; Johann Strauss’ Overture to Die Fledermaus, Smetana’s Three Dances from his Bartered Bride and Shostakovich’s Festive Overture. It will conclude with Prokofiev’s virtuosic and spectacular Cello Concerto known as the Symphonie Concertante. The Prokofiev will feature cello virtuoso Brannon Cho.
