2018 FALL BANQUET Sponsored by the Master Gardener Foundation of Spokane County

The 2018 Fall Banquet is an annual fundraiser sponsored by the Master Gardener Foundation of Spokane County to benefit the WSU Master Gardener Program. This year’s Banquet is scheduled for Thursday, October 11, 2018 at CenterPlace Regional Event Center in Spokane Valley. This fun-filled evening includes an extensive silent auction, a Dessert Dash with sweet treats from the city's best bakeries, a no host bar and catered dinner, and a meet & greet with this year’s keynote speaker Andrea Wulf.

Andrea Wulf is a ‘New York Times Best Selling’ author from London who will speak about her book the Invention of Nature. This historical biography is about a long forgotten scientist, Alexander Von Humboldt. Humboldt was a leading scientist in his day that was considered by many to be the Shakespeare of science; his ideas have evolved into the concept of ecology so important in today's world.

Tickets are priced at $45 and are available at the website, MGFSC.ORG, along with additional event details. Deadline to purchase is 10/5/18. Join the Master Gardeners in welcoming this outstanding author to Spokane!
