Orrechiette- This is our second class in our homemade pasta series (no need to have taken the first class prior). In this class you will be getting your hands dirty at the Estate, learning how to make infused pastas and particularly the Orrechiette, in this hands-on cooking class. Class culminates in a delicious meal, served family style, inside the historic Commellini Estate’s Main Venue.
On the Menu: Rustic Italian bread House Salad: antipasta salad with salami, artichokes, olives, lettuce, and onions served with a house vinaigrette dressing Basil Infused Orecchiette. This pasta is typical of Apulia, a region of southern Italy. Their name comes from their shape, which resembles a small ear. Meatballs and Marinara: Leda Commellini’s homemade ground meatballs served with her famous marinara sauce Dessert: Gelato Adults (21+), enjoy a glass of wine or beer upon arrival and another with our meal! Each participant will receive a recipe card to take home. The class, including meal time, takes approximately 3 hours.
