Five Finger Death Punch remain one of heavy music's most engaging live acts, in no small part because they combine hard rock, heavy metal and straightforward rock 'n' roll in aggressive, energetic ways. In 2019, Five Finger Death Punch teamed up with country star Brantley Gilbert, Queen guitarist Brian May and blues guitarist Kenny Wayne Shepherd to cut a new take on the latter's "Blue On Black," which also became a No. 1 rock hit. Their newest album will be released Friday, August 19th.
Georgia-born singer/songwriter Brantley Gilbert emerged in the early 2010s with a new-fashioned style of traditional country, one that was rooted in the country-pop and arena rock fusions of the '90s and receptive to sly modern R&B and electronic elements.
