The Get Lit! Festival, Washington State's longest-running literary festival, has been celebrating the power of the written word for 25 years. Our local papers have referred to the festival as the "literary equivalent of Hoopfest and Bloomsday." Each year we present 35+ free and low-cost literary events; readings, writing workshops, craft classes, open-mics, and much more, featuring 60+ celebrated writers from Spokane and all across the country. This year we are thrilled to be celebrating our 25th anniversary with the Poet Laureate of the United States, Ada Limón, who will be one of the festival's headlining authors.
