Join us for an unforgettable evening as Helga Melmed, an Auschwitz survivor, shares her remarkable story of horror and survival against all odds. Born in Berlin, Germany in 1928, Helga will recount the desperate conditions she endured during the Nazi regime, including her time in Auschwitz and other labor camps.
At just 16 years old, Helga was liberated, weighing only 46 pounds and facing an uncertain future alone in a foreign country. Despite the unimaginable hardships she faced, Helga's story is one of inspiration, courage, and the human spirit.
