Imagine Jazz Presents New York's Jamie Baum and her Septet+

Imagine Jazz presents Critically Acclaimed, International Flute sensation Jamie Baum and her Septet+ in concert on Wednesday October 20, 2021 at McNally Recital Hall at Holy Names Music Center in Spokane, WA at 7:30pm. New York flutist Jamie Baum has toured over 35 countries, has worked with renowned artists such as Randy Brecker and Roy Hargrove, and has received many prestigious awards and grants including a 2014 Guggenheim fellowship, and the honor to tour for the US State Department as a Kennedy Center Jazz Ambassador. Her CDs have received many raving reviews including New York Times and Downbeat and have made many “Best CDs” of the year lists including the NPR Music Jazz Critics Poll and JazzTimes 10: Essential Jazz Flute Albums. Baum is on faculty at the Manhattan School of Music in New York.

She will be joined by Jonathan Finlayson on trumpet, Aaron Irwin on alto sax/bass clarinet, Chris Komer on French Horn, Brad Shepik on guitar, John Escreet on Piano, Ricky Rodriques on bass and Jeff Hirshfield on drums.

In addition to the Wednesday night Performance at 7:30 pm, the Septet+ will also be offering a free Q&A session at 5:15pm at Holy Names Music Center.
