Siblings Scott and Seth Avett began making music together as kids. They later formed a folk rock band and eventually found success performing original songs on national tours. Their sound is rooted in punk and bluegrass, with lyrical storytelling always at front of mind. Folksy, acoustic pieces honor their North Carolina roots, but the band doesn’t allow constraints of any genre hold them in, resulting in their unique artistry.
