Ruben Studdard rose to fame as a winner of the second season of American Idol in 2003 and, later that year, received a GRAMMY nomination for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance for "Superstar." In the years following Idol, Studdard released six studio albums, including his Platinum-selling debut, Soulful, and the top-selling gospel follow-up, I Need An Angel.

Catapulting to fame on season two of American Idol, Clay Aiken became the first Idol alum in history to have his first single debut at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, to have a single certified Platinum, and to have an album certified triple Platinum. The multi-talented performer has also appeared on Broadway and TV and is also celebrated for his philanthropic efforts.
