The Wyeths: Three Generations -- Works from the Bank of America Collection

Jun 4th to Aug 20th

Seldom is extraordinary artistic talent found in three successive generations of one family. Such is the case of the Wyeths. Visitors to the MAC will see works from patriarch N.C. Wyeth, one of America's finest illustrators, his son, Andrew, an important realist painter, Andrew's son Jamie, a popular portraitist, plus members of the extended family, including N.C.'s daughter Henriette and her husband, Peter Hurd. There are more than 60 paintings and drawings from the Wyeth family in this important and impressive exhibition from the Bank of America Collection.
