Director of Sales

Responsible for lead generation, qualification and conversion of leads from the following geographic markets IL, DC, MD and VA to groups 551 Peak and above as a premier meeting and convention destination consistent with annual goals and objectives established in the annual Marketing Plan.
 
The Director of Sales, shall also be responsible for ongoing partner relations with local hotels, motels, facilities, attractions, and other related hospitality and city representatives. The individual must have a high level of motivation, strong communication skills excellent time management and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Director of Sales, will manage the overall day to day sales activities of the Spokane based Convention Sales team. Key focus is to ensure implementation of the entire scope of work within the approved budget, and achievement of convention sales goals. Other duties include: assist in the development of budget and strategies leading to increased destination awareness and definite group bookings; represent Spokane and Visit Spokane in the designated convention markets. In addition to duties relating to departmental management, this position will maintain and grow a client base and achieve assigned convention lead and booking goals.

Director of Marketing

Responsible for directing all marketing initiatives related to positioning and selling the destination to all travel segments, identifying market opportunities and developing short and longterm marketing strategies with the objective of attracting overnight business in the meetings and conventions, leisure, transient, affinity and international markets.  The Marketing Director also provides strategic input and facilitates business and product development, advertising and promotion, marketing communications and public relations, social media, video and web development, content and design, market research, visitor experience and the film office.

Director of National Accounts (Central Region)

The Director of National Accounts (Central Region), under the direction of the Director of Sales, will be responsible for Promoting the Spokane region throughout central United States to groups 551 Peak and above as a premier meeting and convention destination consistent with annual goals and objectives established in the annual Marketing Plan.
 
The Director of National Accounts will be responsible for lead generation, qualification and conversion of leads based on designated market through in market sales calls, prospecting, digital communication and tradeshow/event participation. He/She shall also be responsible for ongoing partner relations involving local hotels/motels, facilities, attractions, meeting planners, and other related hospitality and city representatives. The individual must have a high level of motivation, strong communication skills excellent time management and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. This person will be based in the Greater Chicagoland.
