Liberty Lake’s sandy beaches, pristine nature trails and first-rate accommodations have attracted visitors for over a century. Known as a hot spot for summer fun, their 4th of July celebration once drew over 14,000 people. Today three area golf courses, great eats, summer concerts and waterfront appeal continue to make Liberty Lake an epicenter for fun in the Inland Northwest.
Many of area’s best attractions can be found lakeside at Liberty Lake Regional Park. Here over 3,591 acres of wetlands, lakeshore, montane forest and conservation area showcase the watershed. Visitors can spread out on the swimming beach, fire up the BBQ, and even explore Liberty Lake Loop, an eight-mile trail that delves into an old growth forest and features a year-round waterfall.
And the charm of Liberty Lake isn’t limited to the outdoors. Hay J’s Bistro features fine dining with over 100 wines, Twisp Café regularly hosts live music, and Liberty Lake Wine Cellars produces their own handcrafted reds complete with a tasting room overlooking the lake. The city’s Summer Concert Series hosts live music, theatre shows and movie screenings in Pavilion Park.
