WSAA, the only statewide arts advocacy organization, works to promote public funding, legislation and policy favorable to the arts. WSAA represents arts organizations, administrators, arts commissioners, artists, business people, arts educators, policymakers and individuals from all walks of life who are committed to keeping the arts strong in our public schools and at the center of community life across Washington State. WSAA is an active and growing membership organization managed by a volunteer board that represents all parts of the state and all creative disciplines. WSAA is supported entirely by membership dues and staffed by an executive director, program director and events coordinator. WSAA also contracts with a professional arts lobbyist in Olympia.
