It’s no secret that the craft brewery scene is hopping in Spokane. Many Spokane breweries source local ingredients to create their concoctions and share their love of beer with both locals and visitors alike.
Although new breweries are emerging all over the city, No-Li Brewhouse opened its doors for the first time in 1993 and has been a hot spot in the U District near Gonzaga University ever since. This paved the way to a plethora of other craft breweries to open as well. No-Li is officially a “Spokane Style Beer” producer with distribution around Washington and Idaho. During your visit, stop by the pub for a meal, draft beer, or get beer-to-go in bottles, growlers, and kegs!
Downtown Spokane is also home to River City Brewing. Come check out their microbrews on First Fridays at their monthly garage parties and other special events year-round.
Iron Goat Brewing on 2nd Avenue in Downtown has a selection of standard brews like Paul’s Pale Ale, the Goatmeal Stout, Bleating Red Ale, and Trashy Blonde. Plus if you have a thing for India Pale Ales get a pint or two of Head Butt IPA and the Impaler Imperial IPA. Visit the Iron Goat Taproom to try them out.

Cider & Cideries in Spokane
If beer isn't your thing, cider is a sweet alternative. Cider has become a staple in this town and to support local farmers and businesses. Harvesting some of the finest apples and pears in the area, Liberty Ciderworks offers artisan, locally crafted ciders in the heart of Downtown Spokane. Also, in the downtown area, One Tree Cider House takes pride in using 100% Washington apples in all of their house-made cider blends and their food is stellar. For a quick escape from the city, Twilight Cider Works offers fine-crafted ciders at its quaint location in Green Bluff. When beer sounds too heavy, air on the sweeter side of drinks and grab a cider at one of these great local cideries.
